Should You Visit Carmen Cebu Safari
Let's keep this short and simple
How to Get There
If you don't have your own car, you can either rent one (a lot of car rentals available in facebook) or commute. We rented a Toyata Vios Self Drive for 1500PHP good for 24hours which could accommodate 5 adults maximum (including driver) - Spent 700 for gas in total
– If you are driving, once you hit the National/Nautical Highway in Carmen, look for the Carmen National High School. Turn left if you came from the south and right if from the north, follow the road signs and you will reach our place after 8kms. of up hill climb. You can also use Google Map or Waze by looking for M Lhuillier Cebu Safari.
– If you are commuting from the city, go to the north bus terminal, take any bus that passes through Carmen. Alight infront of Carmen Plaza and look for vans in the plaza that bring people to the safari. Take the van and they will bring you to the park.
How Much Would it Cost
Tickets are worth 800 pesos WITHOUT buffet. Kids 2-3ft are 50% off while kids below 2ft are free of charge. Senior Citizen and PWD discounts are available. This includes access to all animal exhibits, Birdshow, African Savanna Tour, Michel’s Garden and tram rides inside the park.

How Long Will the Entire Tour Take
Approximately 3-4 hours including watching the Bird Show
Is It Worth Visiting
For a Cebuano who only sees crocodiles in the Crocodile farm in Talisay or Ostriches and deers in random parks, YES it is definitely worth visiting.
What Can You See
Lions
Tigers (white and orange)
Cheetah and other wild cats
Wild Dogs
Giraffes (still young)
Meercats
Turtles and Crocodiles
Monkeys and Orangutan
Camel
Eagles and birds
Zebras and Wildebeast
Peacocks, Lemurs and Kangaroos
Snakes and other reptiles
Wild boars and Deers
In My Opinion
It's a well established area, and properly secluded from the city to provide the animals a habitat close to their natural home. 800 is worth the money since you would be seeing a lot of animals. I am optimistic that they would be adding more animals in the future :)
