Osmena Peak - Update

Osmean Peak Update

So I decided to gather my friends for a camp out in Osmeṅa Peak, again, because it's the quickest, easiest and most economical adventure filled trip we can think of. With a 500 budget, you can climb the highest peak in Cebu and enjoy the campfire with your friends overnight.

But...prices changed.

Last year, we only spent 500 - 600 PHP per pax for the overnight camping in Osmeṅa Peak and a morning dip in Obong Spring. Read my previous post about Opeak here.

Now, there were additional charges of 20 PHP/pax for entrance fee and another 50 PHP for overnight fee per tent. I don't know if they charge you the same overnight fee if you decide to sleep in a sleeping bag  - if you can withstand the cold.

We had to give up our tent and covered the other tent for extra protection against the rain , and cold.

Other than that, there are no more additional charges. Another new thing I have encountered on this third trip to Opeak is the harsh weather. It rained hard that night that it flooded our tent. So my advice, don't bring a cheap tent especially when you know there is a high chance of precipitation =P
Put all valuables in a waterproof container and always bring extra clothes (keep them dry).

And always, always keep yourself warm ^_^ Enjoy!

Bus fee is still 100 non-aircon and 105 aircon.
Habal-habal fee also is still 100 per ride per person.

Leave nothing but footprints.
Take nothing but pictures.

Please be responsible with your trash
enjoy!!
